SIPSMITH RECIPES: HELLO SUMMER, MEET GIN!

The sun is now officially shining and we are all set for some serious sipping at Duck & Dry.  And to celebrate the summer season, we've teamed up with our favourite distillers, Sipsmith.

Read on to learn fun ways of drinking summer-ready gin and tonics!

THE PERFECT GIN & TONIC

A Summer sipping staple: the perfect marriage of a traditional recipe and a truly traditional handcrafted process - London Dry gin made the way it used to be, the way it should be.

To build the perfect G&T fill a tall glass with as much ice as possible, add 50ml of Sipsmith London Dry gin (the gin cools as it runs over the ice), top with a chilled good quality tonic (like Fever-Tree) and garnish with a fresh wedge of unsqueezed lime to compliment all the flavours of the gin.

SIPSMITH SUMMER CUP

Where Summer meets Gin. Inspired by the house cups that were a staple of every London pub in the 1800s this is our London Dry gin rested with a host of summery ingredients including Lemon Verbena from Master Distiller Jared's garden, cucumber and Earl Grey tea.

Fill a wine glass with ice, add 35ml Summer Cup, top with lemonade and garnish with a slice of unsqueezed lemon, for a summer in a glass.

SIPSMITH GIN ALEXANDER

A truly simple and irresistible cocktail for Ice-Cream and Gin Lovers alike.

Add 40ml Sipsmith London Dry gin to one scoop of Jude's Gin and Tonic Ice-Cream. Shake until ice cream melts and your hands can stand the cold now more. Serve in a chilled coupe glass with a dash of grated nutmeg.
